Users can easily capture a photo under good lighting conditions using their iPhone or iPod Touch, then choose an object or area within the photo for ColoredEye to classify. Additionally, the app offers a live camera mode for instant color recognition.
ColoredEye features distinct color databases with unique sets of names covering a wide range of colors:
- BASIC: Includes 16 fundamental colors such as purple, green, and blue.
- CRAYOLA: Consists of 134 playful pigments like burnt sienna, piggy pink, and turquoise.
- DETAILED: Offers 134 descriptive colors like dim gray, dark slate gray, and gray.
